A biker torn between loyalty to his club and love for his woman.
I let Evie Bishop go once. I won’t make that mistake again.
I’ve loved Evie since we were kids, before I found the Storm MC.
Long before I sold my soul to the devil.
I never wanted to bring her into this world, but a man can only go so long without the woman he loves by his side. I need her like I fucking need air and I won’t stop until she’s mine again.
I knew she’d battle me.
I knew I’d have to fight hard for her.
But I never thought I’d be in this predicament—torn between her and my club.
The thing about me, though, is that I’ll do anything for those I love. Even if it could cost me everything.
This story contains all the panty-melting sexiness and alpha goodness that Nina Levine books are known for.
Standalone Motorcycle Club Romance
This spin-off series can be read without reading the original Storm MC Series.
These two! First off, I love a good friends to lovers to ex-lovers back to friends/lovers romance! Kick & Evie have spent their whole lives knowing each other, but not all of that time has been pleasant. During high school, they were BEST FRIENDS, each taking care of one another. As they got a bit older, they decided to explore the feelings between each other, and found that their connection was so much deeper than simple friendship.
But, nothing worthwhile comes easily, right?
This story is one that takes you on a roller coaster of emotions. These two are so passionate about everything, as well as protective of themselves. So much hurt has been thrown around that it’s difficult to see past it and really understand how each of them has changed. When you add in being connected to a motorcycle club, things get really complicated.
What I loved about this story was the fact that nothing was simple. Not only do we get some great action, we also get some great feelings — not just love or lust, but deeper feelings that stem from pasts that can’t be controlled. This wasn’t my favorite book in the series (yes, I waited to write a review until I read all of the series that was available … weird, I know!), but it was a good introduction to the vibe that this series would carry.
If you love MC, romance, action, and some gut-wrenching feelings — definitely a must read!
