1. Drifter — Bella Jewel
I reviewed this book a bit ago, after receiving an arc. This is a perfect book for spring break! Not only do you get a sassy female lead, you get to go back to the MC Sinners, you get to see real life struggles, and it also has a beautiful love story. This is a standalone, but a part of a series.
2. The Fire Between High & Lo –Brittany C. Cherry
I just read this book a few days ago & whew! Talk about emotional roller coaster! This is a beautiful story of first love, real life struggles, and how life can take us to places we never imagined. High & Lo are best friends who share everything, including love. When some horrific life events turn their life 180 degrees, they are met with making some tough choices. This story really reflects how much life can damage us, how people can heal us, and that human love & determination can make all the difference. This book is the second in the Elements series.
3. Broken but Breathing — Shyla Colt
This book gave me so many feels. After living through the devastation of a tornado, Estelle wakes up to a world where she has lost everything important to her. Grieving takes time, so it takes Estelle quite a while to wake up. When she finally begins to live her life again, she meets Snake at a grief meeting. Circumstances lead them to become each other’s support, which initiates a budding friendship. Over time, both of them begin to truly live their lives again.A story that details the journey through grief to living, exemplifies not judging a person by their looks, and illustrating how we should be supporting each other everyday. This book is second in the Jinx Tattoos series.
4. A Thousand Boy Kisses — Tillie Cole
One kiss lasts a moment.
But a thousand kisses can last a lifetime.
A bond that is forged in an instant and cherished for a decade.
A bond that neither time nor distance can break.
A bond that will last forever.
Or so they believe.
When seventeen-year-old Rune Kristiansen returns from his native Norway to the sleepy town of Blossom Grove, Georgia, where he befriended Poppy Litchfield as a child, he has just one thing on his mind. Why did the girl who was one half of his soul, who promised to wait faithfully for his return, cut him off without a word of explanation?
Rune’s heart was broken two years ago when Poppy fell silent. When he discovers the truth, he finds that the greatest heartache is yet to come.
This book gave me ALL the feels! I recommend buying a box of kleenex just for this book. Tillie Cole again artfully crafts a story to portray some of the greatest human emotions and struggles. This book drags out all of your heart and truly puts you into the story. I HIGHLY advise you to read this book. Like, right now!
Now, here are a few books I’m about to dig into. You can get a little preview and add them to your to-be-read lists!
5. Moto — M. Never
What’s harder than resisting one Dane man? Resisting two.
I don’t date bikers. It’s my one cardinal rule. No rough, rugged, tattooed egotistical maniacs on two wheels. Even if they are gorgeous, brilliant, and sport the prefix Doctor. Bottom line, bikers are nothing but trouble.
Dr. Devlin Dane has had his sights set on my panties for months. But I’ve done a stellar job of fending him off. As Mercy Medical’s most eligible bachelor, he has no problem in the panty dropping department. He’s tall, dark, and inked all over. I get the appeal, I’m not dead. I’m not stupid either. He’s a walking heartbreak waiting to happen.
But when Reese Dane comes crashing into my life – literally- the game suddenly changes.
Reese, the dark, brooding, motorcycle racing champion, knows exactly how to apply the right pressure on and off the track.
The two have an unstoppable pull like centrifugal force, and both bad boy bikers are determined to take me on a high-powered ride I’ll never forget…

With paparazzi tracking her every move, Jenny flees to a remote mansion in Louisiana to write her next album. The only hiccup is the unexpected presence of a brooding young caretaker named Noah, whose foul mouth and snap judgments lead to constant bickering—and serious heat.
Noah really should tell Jenny that he’s Preston Noah Maxwell Walcott, the owner of the estate where the feisty country singer has made her spoiled self at home. But the charade gives Noah a much-needed break from his own troubles, and before long, their verbal sparring is indistinguishable from foreplay. But as sizzling nights give way to quiet pillow talk, Noah begins to realize that Jenny’s almost as complicated as he is. To fit into each other’s lives, they’ll need the courage to face their problems together—before the outside world catches up to them.

“She was nothing I expected and everything I wanted.” – Dave
I’m a scorned woman and no one, except him, knows it.
My first lover.
My best friend’s brother.
A mouth-watering piece of art I can’t stop staring at.
He’s the ice-cream to my tongue on a hot day.
Water to my dehydrated body.
And a perfect release for my pent up desires.
But we’re far from a fairy tale.
He can be the knife to my heart.
Acid to my skin.
And darkness to my eyes.
He destroyed me.
Broke my soul and stole my faith.
Now he wants to put me back together and I’m not sure if I’m strong enough to resist him.
